UN ALTRO PESCE ZENTANGLE INSPIRED ART - another "zentangle inspired art" fish

Anche se all'inizio volevo parlare e presentare i miei acquerelli, mi sto concentrando più sul disegno con i pennarelli.

Although at first I wanted to talk and present my watercolors, now I'm focusing more on the drawing with markers.

La tecnica mi affascina, anche se la mia è un'interpretazione che si allontana abbastanza dallo "Zentangle" originale ideato e registrato negli USA da Maria Thomas e Rick Roberts. 

The technique fascinates me, even if my interpretation is enough away from the original "Zentangle"  designed and registered in the U.S. by Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts.

Infatti più disegno e più mi accorgo che non riesco a ripetere i pattern, ma li cambio, li invento, li sovrappongo. Se è una forma di arte penso che ognuno è libero di interpretarli come vuole e non dentro schemi rigidi e prefissati.

In fact, more I draw and more I realize that I can't repeat the patterns, I change them, invent and overlap them.
If it is a form of art, I think everyone is free to interpret them as he wants and not into rigid schemas and goals.

Continuo a disegnare pesci tropicali perchè mi sembrano ottimi soggetti: sono così fantasiosi da soli che è facile prenderli come spunto per un ulteriore abbellimento. La natura è piena di pattern fantasiosi e spunti interessanti e i fondali marini sono un esempio.

I continue to draw tropical fishes because they seem good subjects: they are so imaginative that it is easy to just take them as a starting point for further embellishment.
Nature is full of imaginative patterns and interesting ideas and seabed is an example.

Per ritornare alla tecnica, all'inizio disegno, in base a una foto, la sagoma esterna del pesce e qualche tratto interno con il pennarello Staedtler pigment line 0,8. Quindi suddivido delle aree interne che poi riempio con i diversi pattern usando pennarelli più sottili tipo Staedtler 0,1 e Faber Castell Pitt artist pen. Mi piace anche usare più colori oltre al nero: in questo caso ho usato il color seppia.

To return to the technique, first I draw the subject from a picture, the outer shape of the fish and some inner section with a pen Staedtler pigment line 0.8.  So I divide inland areas which then I fill with different patterns using a thinner marker  type Staedtler 0.1 and Faber Castell Pitt artist pen. I also like to use more colors than black: in this case I used the sepia.


Non seguo un percorso lineare, ma mi sposto un po' a caso da una parte all'altra del disegno in base all'ispirazione del momento. Poi cerco di bilanciare i chiari e gli scuri e in seguito disegno lo sfondo con un tratto sottile.Naturalmente impiego alcune ore a terminare il disegno, non so di preciso quante ore, ma credo 6 o 7 ore almeno.
Comunque penso che attraverso questo tipo di disegno effettivamente si riesca a liberare la mente e a potenziare le proprie doti artistiche e fantastiche.

I do not follow a linear path, but I move  from one part to another of the drawing according to the inspiration of the moment. Then I try to balance the light and dark and then drawing the background with a thin line.
Of course I spent a few hours to finish the drawing, I do not know exactly how many hours, but I think 6 or 7 hours at least.

However, I think that through this type of drawing everyone is able to clear the mind and enhance  artistic and fantastic skills.

ANCORA ZENTANGLE INSPIRED ART

Ieri sera ho terminato un altro disegno ispirato agli "scarabocchi Zentangle".
Come ho già scritto in un altro post, il termine "Zentangle", che è un marchio registrato negli USA, indica disegni realizzati con modelli ripetitivi la cui esecuzione crea una sorta di stato meditativo simile allo zen.
Non ho fatto alcun corso presso i numerosi insegnanti certificati americani, ma comunque in rete si trova abbastanza per capire di cosa si tratta e quindi ho realizzato una  mia personale  interpretazione, questa volta a colori.
Ho creato prima una base ad acquerello su carta specifica per questa tecnica, quindi con i pennarelli ho disegnato gli elementi ripetitivi che ho poi messo in evidenza con matite colorate.

Ed ecco il risultato:

Last night I finished another drawing inspired to "Zentangle doodles."
As I wrote in another post, the term "Zentangle", which is a registered trademark in the U.S.A., shows drawings made with repetitive patterns whose execution creates a sort of state of meditation like Zen.
I haven't made ​​any course held from various certified teachers, but the network is enough to understand what it is and then I made my own personal interpretation, this time coloured.
I first created a layer with watercolors on paper specific for this technique, then I drew with markers repetitive elements which I then highlighted with colored pencils.

And here is the result:

Più osservavo il disegno e più mi veniva alla mente lo scenario di un mondo "alieno", quasi inquietante, come quello di certi film di fantascienza. 

Cercando quindi riferimenti grafici a questa mia idea ho scoperto l'esistenza di un interessante artista svizzero di ispirazione surrealista e simbolica, Hans Rudolf Giger.

Questo pittore scultore e designer ha dato forma alla creatura del film "Alien" insieme a Carlo Rambaldi ed è il creatore dei "biomeccanoidi", creature della fantascienza in cui carne e metallo si fondono.

Molte delle sue opere sono esposte al Museum H.R. Giger, situato all'interno del castello medioevale di St. Germain nel borgo di Gruyères (Svizzera), aperto dal 1998. http://www.hrgiger.com/

The more I observed the drawing, the more I had in my mind the scene of an alien world, almost scary, like some science fiction movies.

Then looking graphic references to this idea I discovered the existence of an interesting Swiss artist of surrealist and symbolic inspiration, Hans Rudolf Giger.

This painter, sculptor and designer has given shape to the creature from the movie "Alien" with Carlo Rambaldi and is the creator of biomechanical creatures of science fiction in which flesh and metal blend.

Many of his works are exhibited at the Museum H.R. Giger, located inside the medieval castle of St. Germain in the village of Gruyères (Switzerland), open since 1998. http://www.hrgiger.com/

"ZENTANGLE": UN DIVERTIMENTO!

Sono stata un po' in pausa con l'acquerello perchè un'altra mia passione è la Z.I.A. cioè Zentangle Inspired Art. 
Il sito ufficiale è http://www.zentangle.com/.
E' un modo per fare qualcosa di artistico alla portata di tutti, rilassante e che stimola la creatività. Ho scoperto da qualche mese questa forma di arte e mi ha subito preso molto.

Questo è uno dei disegni che ho realizzato ispirandomi ai tantissimi esempi che si trovano nella rete, fonte inesauribile di spunti e idee.

Ci sono innumerevoli modi di applicare le semplici regole dello Zentangle (che è un marchio registrato e con numerosi insegnanti certificati).

Tutti abbiamo scarabocchiato sul quaderno durante le lezioni o durante una lunga telefonata. Questo è un modo "artistico" per farlo! 

Naturalmente ci vuole tempo per fare disegni come quello che ho postato sopra (cm 33 x 24), qualche ora, magari non ininterrottamente, ma in più riprese. 

In questo modo però ci si libera veramente la mente: infatti il termine deriva dall'unione di ZEN (dottrina buddista basata sulla meditazione e sulla concentrazione)+ tangle (che in inglese significa groviglio)
