Finalmente nel week end ho trovato il tempo per un nuovo acquerello, ispirato ad una foto di un precedente post.
Ecco il risultato:
At last during the weekend I found the time for a new watercolor, inspired by a picture of a previous post.

Ho tantissime foto che scatto con l'idea di farne acquerelli, ma poi per mancanza di tempo passa tanto prima che riesca a prendere in mano i pennelli, cercando di ritrovare l'atmosfera di quel particolare momento.
Ecco il risultato:

Anche se non sembra, l'acquerello richiede, almeno per me, un'attenta pianificazione e quindi concentrazione nella realizzazione. Bisogna trovare il momento giusto, l'"ispirazione", e non sempre è facile.
Il processo di trasformazione di una foto in dipinto non è così automatico. Alcuni elementi vanno enfatizzati, altri smorzati o ignorati e vanno attentamente studiati i piani: primo piano, secondo piano e sfondo.
La foto molto spesso appiattisce il soggetto, mentre nelll'acquerello bisogna dare un senso di tridimensionalità. Vanno poi accuratamente studiate le zone di luce e quelle di ombra.
Insomma è tutto molto complicato!
I have many pictures I shoot with the idea of making watercolors, but then passes a long time before I can pick up the brush, trying to rediscover the atmosphere of that particular moment.
Watercolor requires, at least for me, so careful planning and concentration in the creation. I must find the right moment, the '"inspiration", and it is not always easy.
The process of transforming a picture into a painting is not so easy. Some elements are emphasized, others muted or ignored and should be carefully studied foreground, the middle and background.
The picture often flattens the subject while watercolor have to give a sense of three-dimensionality. I carefully studied the areas of lights and shade.
So it's all very difficult!
Il processo di trasformazione di una foto in dipinto non è così automatico. Alcuni elementi vanno enfatizzati, altri smorzati o ignorati e vanno attentamente studiati i piani: primo piano, secondo piano e sfondo.
